History of DTA Security Services
The corporation was founded as National Security of Alabama in 1977 by Norman Usery and Donald Terry. Both founders were retired and decorated police officers with the Montgomery Police Department. Don Terry and Associates, the DBA for National Security of Alabama, was then rebranded in 2004 as DTA Security Services. The company then began expanding beyond the local area including pursuing federal and government contracts.
The areas of concentration for the company are physical security, patrol services, electronic monitoring, camera systems, gates, guard facilities and security gates.
